Snap Ties with Cones, ACE. Snap ties are basically designed to resist the lateral pressure of fresh concrete on vertical forms. The standard Snap ties are manufactured from medium high carbon wire and 1"x1" plastic spreader cone providing a nominal 1" break back. The snap-ties are used to connect or strap the wood panel for molding when you build a concrete wall. The attachment to the wood can be made with the snap tie bracket or the snap tie wedge sold separately.
